akir/Turkey, The 09 December 2011

His Excellency the Holy Father,

The religions, that are graced by the Creater of the Universe through the prophets, have an vital importance in terms of putting forward mutual points and strenghtening the union of people instead of a manner that putting forward the differences which seems like separating and act in a hostile way in this period of time that the religions became the means of separation and split, even hostility instead of their main target, to be a union.

As His Excellency the Holy Father knows, in all the religions that constructed with the messages of the God’s prophets, the union is commanded. I would like to request a humbly favour from His Excelleny the Holy Father, as the most effective leader of Christianity religion which is constructed in the light of these messages. I would like to request His Excelleny to make a call to Muslims and Christians for a joint celebration in mosques and churches, as a mean of the union, with the pray and contemplation of Muslims with the Ali Imran and Meryem suras in mosques and again with the pray and contemplation of Christians in churches in forthcoming Noel, which symbolize the birth week of Prophet Jesus whose prophecy and messiah is approved in both the Holy Bible and the Holy Qoran.

His Excellency the Holy Father is the only leader that can make this call to Christian community. I am convinced that the Holy Father can be the architect of an important step in providing the unity and the peace of the world by making this call which can bring billions of believers, Muslims and Christians together for a week or maybe for an era.

I would like to stress that I am ready to submit my humble works that I have realized until today.

Sincerely Yours,

                                                                                                                      Mim Yavuz BINBAY

We are sorry for the late acknowledgement of receipt of the letter you sent on 9 December 2011 to pope Benedict XVI.

We deppy thank you and congratulate you for the good will and sensibility you expressed in favour of the commitment for pacific coexistence, tolerance and dialogue among religions in general and with Islam in particular.

This is the strong belief and permenant work of the Pope and the Holy see as demonstrated by ; 1) the activity of the Pontifical council for Interreligious Dialogue that exists in Vatican; 2) the message that the same Pontifical Council annually sends, on behalf of the Pope, to the Muslim brothers in occasion of the end of Ramadan; 3) the visite that Pope Benedict XVI paid in December 2006 to the Sultan Ahmet Mosque where He also wanted to pray; 4) “last but not least” the meeting of all Religious Leaders of the world promoted by Benedict XVI the last october in the Italian city of Assisi.
